The Dilemma of Realness in Human-Machine Love

I am currently writing my Bachelor of Arts Thesis for my Philosophy major on the following question: what makes human-machine love real?

I propose that we can articulate what is called "the dilemma of realness of human-machine love", in which we want to love the machine neither fully as a human nor as a tool, in the relevant sense.

Of course, this is predicated on what it means to love a machine at all; a question that I am concurrently responding to in my thesis.
